As many of you may already know, the beloved Dave Wilkerson was called home on Wednesday, April 27th. Dave Wilkerson (seen above with Pastor Ray Barnett at a meeting in 1988) is best known as being the author of the book The Cross and the Switchblade as well as the founding pastor of Times Square Church. With the same courage and fervor the he would minister to gang members and drug addicts, he would often deliver messages that left the hearer with the distinct impression that they were receiving a Word from God. NEW YORK DISTRICT ASSEMBLY OF GOD PRESBYTERY DISMISSES New York City Presbyter and U.S. Assemblies of God Urban Missionary– MARK GREGORI, EVEN THOUGH PROVEN INNOCENT BY FORENSIC EXAM!
In what may be the worst abuse of justice to date by the AOG, the leaders of the New York District of the Assemblies of God have accused and dismissed the Rev. Mark Gregori, of what amounts to "thought crimes" – even though independent polygraph tests cleared him of any guilt. Like a chilling piece of fiction, the New York District Presbytery interrogated and dismissed Rev. Mark Gregori on the grounds of - "you are guilty, when WE say you are guilty," despite clear and compelling evidence that he is innocent. Pastor Gregori, founder and Pastor of The Crossway Christian Center for 36 years in the Bronx, NY; was also the object of a malicious 3-page letter, written to all of his friends and fellow ministers by the District Superintendent detailing the baseless accusations, as well as the Presbyters unbiblical rationale for dismissal. Himself a longtime New York City Presbyter and a U.S. Assemblies of God Urban Missionary, he has been the victim of intolerable malice, exploitation, betrayal, slander, and "cruel and inhuman punishment," at the hands of the New York Presbytery, though, once again, forensic science has confirmed his complete innocence. There seems to be no end in sight of the outrageous abuse of authority and power that continues in the AOG. "SUE AS I SAY, DON’T SUE I SUE" [PART II]
by Pastor Ray Barnett "SUE AS I SAY, DON’T SUE I SUE" [PART II] IN A LANDMARK DECISION, DEFENDANT BETHEL ASSEMBLY - MASSENA, NEW YORK, WINS SUIT INITIATED BY PLAINTIFFS GEORGE WOOD AND DUANE DURST IN NEW YORK STATE SUPREME COURT. Without care or concern for the Word of God[i], the Assemblies of God continues to bring defenseless Churches and pastors into courts of law in order seize property and assets. An alarming trend with no end in sight, AOG leaders demand that their ministers - "Sue As I Say," but not "Sue As I Sue." Holding to a Biblical position in theory only, their practice is completely opposite from what their "position" paper states[ii] as well as the Word of God. Jesus reserved His harshest castigation for those who oppressed the people of God with their double standards and duplicity with regard to their authority over the people of God. This includes their insincere and deceitful treatment of Scripture. The Bible records in Matthew 23:1- 3 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not." In this chapter, our Lord Jesus directed unabated anger that exploded from His Holy lips, against the arrant hypocrisy of the leaders of Israel. How is it, the AOG leaders believe they can violate the Word of God, their own "position paper," and the trust of their ministers and Churches, and stand before God- blameless?[iii] One day, God will judge. Amazing Letter To Southern Missouri District Credential Holders
by Bill Baker Below is a copy of of a letter recently sent to AG credential holders in the Southern Missouri District. The letter ends with a blessing on the credential holders as they strive to to enhance the Kingdom of God, but the Kingdom sure feels a lot smaller nowadays with Southern Missouri credential holders being forbidden to attend a non-AG church. Sure seems paradoxal - "strive to enhance the Kingdom" and "no Assemblies of God credentialed minister in our district will be allowed to attend a non-Assemblies of God Church", just don't seem to go together.
Letter from The Southern Missouri District Superintendent to all [District] Credential Holders Dated November 29, 2007 Dear Fellow Ministers:
We Trust the blessings of God are greatly upon each of you during this special Holiday Season. In our October presbyters meeting a motion prevailed that no Assemblies of God credentialed minister in our district will be allowed to attend a non-Assemblies of God Church unless they are given permission by the Presbytery Board. It was also moved that the District write a letter to those ministers that have been brought to our attention who are attending a non-Assemblies of God Church indicating it will be necessary for them to receive District Presbytery approval for them to do so, or their credentials will be in jeopardy. If you or some credentialed minister in your church falls into this category, please comply or encourage them to follow through with this action. May God continue to bless you and your family as together we strive to enhance the Kingdom of God. Sincerely in Christ

Trask Initiates Angry Diatribe at Reporter
A very angry Thomas Trask called me yesterday, claiming I was "doing a major disservice to the Kingdom" by interviewing Pastor Ray Barnett regarding the Adour debacle in the NY presbytery. He accused me of never contacting the AOG national headquarters before publishing so-called "lies" from Adour and Barnett. I let him know that I called his office twice requesting an interview on the matter, but I never heard back from them. Trask said since the denomination is so large they receive thousands of media inquiries like that every year and his secretary probably forget to pass the messages on to him. I told him that while he was on the line, we could do an interview and he could have his chance to explain why Adour and Barnett were dismissed. He said he would never do an interview with us because he's not willing to address "false and slanderous allegations." He yelled several times that I was "doing a major disservice to the Kingdom," and said my journalism was "trash" and just "a bunch of garbage." He also asserted that the only reason I wrote the story was to attack the AOG denomination. He then told me he was going to tell his denomination about my shoddy work and then he abruptly hung up. All during his angry diatribe I was thinking -- this man heads the Assemblies of God denomination. I pity the men and women across the country under this man's leadership. posted 3.18.2006
